The Bible doesn't say money is the root of all evil, but rather that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. This distinction is crucial for understanding our relationship with wealth. True contentment comes from trusting God's provision while pursuing His will, not from accumulating riches. Money should be viewed as a tool for building God's kingdom, not as our master. The key is seeking first God's kingdom and practicing hilarious generosity that reflects our love for Jesus over material wealth.
